Losing motivation is a very important problem today. Reward is not always the right way to high motivation. So what should we do? We can start by acknowledging that the tasks is boring, explaining why it’s important. We should let people choose the way they accomplish it. Then we have to created an environment that encourages autonomy, mastery and purpose. Let people choose their time, their teammates and their way.
